Academic Appointment Procedures are a unique type of application process with their own rules. Knowing and practising these procedures can increase your chances of securing a professorship.

This information session provides concise guidance on how to present yourself to an appointment committee, including an overview of the procedural elements, typical questions, and best-practice examples for presentations and discussions.

Please note that this information session focuses on appointment procedures in German-speaking countries.

The first part of the session, "The Written Application", will take place on 2 Dec 2025
